Hugh McGrew, Jr. aged 91 years of Flora, MS, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A native of Lamar County, MS, he was a manager in retail sales and a veteran of the US Army. McGrew was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita McGrew; parents, Hugh, Sr. and Pearl McGrew; a sister, Sarah Bess Moree; and brother, J.L. Mr. Earl Clark, aged 74 of Foxworth, MS died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Marion General Hospital. He was a welder with Georgia Pacific and retired in 2005 and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Clark; a son, Ray Pounds; his parents, Obie and Mildred McCain Clark; and brothers, Wilfred Clark, and William Harry Clark. Faye H. Statham, aged 77 years of Columbia, MS died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Marion General Hospital. Ruth Bradley, aged 81 years of Columbia, MS died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Columbia Heath and Rehab with her daughter by her side.
